Facilities management in Glasgow

Most buildings are run on a patchwork of contracts: one supplier for manned guarding, another for keyholding, a third for out of hours access. Stirling's consolidates them into a single contracted service, with one point of contact and a documented record of every attendance.

Stirling's officer managing a Glasgow office building

A consistent, named team

Officers are assigned to your building rather than drawn from a rota of whoever is available. Over the course of a contract that team develops working knowledge of your alarm zones, access points, contractor schedules and site specific risks. Each attendance is recorded against the site file, so handovers are documented rather than verbal and you retain a complete audit trail.

Cover outside core hours

The majority of facilities incidents fall outside the working day. We manage scheduled opening and locking, weekend and overnight contractor access, and response to activations at any hour. Your own staff are not called out, and your organisation does not carry the lone working risk that comes with sending them.

Reporting you can act on

Every attendance produces a written record: time on site, condition of the premises, any faults identified, supporting photographs and the action taken. Reports are issued to your nominated contacts and retained for the duration of the contract, which gives you documentation for insurers, auditors and your own board.

How it works

From first call to officers on site

Four steps, and you know exactly what happens at each one before you commit to anything.

  1. 01

    Site survey

We attend your premises, assess the risk properly and put a written proposal in front of you. No quote is issued from a phone call and a postcode.

  2. 02

    Agreed procedures

Alarm zones, escalation contacts, access arrangements and reporting requirements are documented and signed off before an officer sets foot on site.

  3. 03

    Officers assigned

A named team is allocated to your contract and briefed on your site file, so the people attending know the building before their first shift.

  4. 04

    Ongoing reporting

Written records after every attendance, reviewed with you at agreed intervals and retained for the life of the contract.
