Reception and front of house security in Glasgow

Reception is the first impression a visitor forms and the final control point before your building. Our front of house officers cover both jobs: a professional, welcoming desk, and controlled authorisation over who proceeds beyond it.

Reception security officer at a Glasgow front desk

A front desk, not a checkpoint

Reception officers deal with your clients, candidates and deliveries all day. Ours are uniformed, well spoken and trained to greet people properly while still running sign in, badge issue and escorting to the standard your access policy requires. Visitors are received properly, and no one proceeds beyond reception unchallenged.

Joined up with the rest of your security

Reception is where most incidents start, whether that is an unhappy visitor, a tailgating attempt or a delivery that should not be accepted. Our officers work on radio with any patrol or guarding team on site, log what happens, and escalate to your facilities contact with a clear written record rather than a verbal handover.

How it works

From first call to officers on site

Four steps, and you know exactly what happens at each one before you commit to anything.

  1. 01

    Site survey

We attend your premises, assess the risk properly and put a written proposal in front of you. No quote is issued from a phone call and a postcode.

  2. 02

    Agreed procedures

Alarm zones, escalation contacts, access arrangements and reporting requirements are documented and signed off before an officer sets foot on site.

  3. 03

    Officers assigned

A named team is allocated to your contract and briefed on your site file, so the people attending know the building before their first shift.

  4. 04

    Ongoing reporting

Written records after every attendance, reviewed with you at agreed intervals and retained for the life of the contract.
